Great area to visit. A boat is essential in my opinion. Be wary of the sand bars!

Bridge broken and couldn't walk on it. Whilst that section may have come down in the storm it is in bad repair anyway. Could not see anything at all. Very disappointed. Don't bother

Rather save yourself the journey and the time. There is nothing to see, the jetty is still destroyed.

A nice place to walk/visit, but the river is quite deep and fast, so don't attempt to cross the river unless you are sure of your footing. Very windy the whole time.

Such a shame the jetty has not been fixed and was unusable and as the beach is closed to protect the Stromatolites it was not possible to see them at all. The Quarry is interesting, and no public toilets.

It's worth noting that there are no public toilets here. When we asked to use the caravan park toilets the response was No. We get hundreds of people through here wanting to use the toilets
